Certificates

Certificates lets you issue credentials to your students or trainees, print them officially, and let anyone confirm they are genuine. Open Certification from the dashboard, described as: "Issue completion certificates to your trainees."

Issue a certificate

At its simplest, you issue a certificate to a student to confirm they completed a course or programme. The certificate is printed with your letterhead, so it looks official.

Add modules and scores (optional)

For programmes made of parts, you can go further:

• A module is a component of the programme, for example a unit or a subject.
• A weight says how much a module counts toward the overall result.
• A module score is the mark a student earned in that module.

You configure the modules and their weights, then capture each student's scores. Lernmark combines them into the overall result shown on the certificate. Teachers can enter module scores and print certificates for the classes they teach.

What students see

Students open My certificates, described as: "The certificates your school has issued to you." They can view and keep the certificates you have issued them.

Verifying a certificate

Anyone (an employer, another school) can confirm a certificate is genuine without logging in. On the public verify a certificate page they enter the institution and the certificate's verification code, and Lernmark confirms whether it is valid and shows its details. This lets your credentials be trusted outside your school.
